Serious deterioration has been found in some of the structural timbers in the old part of Ashwell Village Museum.  The cost of a thorough restoration of this iconic building will be £250,000.

The Museum Trustees have set up a Museum Heritage Fund to ensure that this work can be carried out to the highest standard and are seeking funding from various grant bodies.

These bring with them a requirement for a significant amount of fundraising from the local community and a number of events and activities are taking place to support this – one of which is an ‘Auction of Promises and Things’.
